RR Crossing

The village administration worked with the Union Pacific railroad and Metra to reduce the problems with blocked crossings at Winfield Road.  This has significantly reduced the waiting times at the crossing and has improved the flow of traffic through Town Center.  What was the very simple thing that was asked of the Metra?  To stop the trains just short of Winfield Road to allow the traffic to cross ahead of the train.

President Birutis is negotiating with Union Pacific, who owns the tracks,  to make some of the same considerations as Metra.
